Brooklyn Depriest competes in his final run of the Youth Olympic Games slopestyle competition last week in Gangwon, South Korea. DePriest finished sixth in the competition and eighth in the big air event on Jan. 28.
SSCV U16 Alpine skiers Grant Studness and Lasse Gaxiola and went 1-2 in the first slalom on the final day of the SYNC Cup at Steamboat Resort.
Ski and Snowboard Club Vail’s Olivia Lisle placed 12th in the slopestyle competition at the Youth Olympic Games on Jan. 24. She finished 19th in the big air competition on Jan. 28.
The Ski and Snowboard Club Vail U16 Alpine ski team claimed multiple podiums during the National Performance Series tech races at Burke Mountain, which wrapped up on Jan. 12.

SSCV snowboarder Brooklyn DePriest placed sixth at the FIS Park and Pipe World Junior Championships slopestyle competition on Wednesday and took fifth in the big air final on Sunday.

SSCV’s Mari Renick swept all three girls events at the SYNC Cup on Jan. 26-28 at Steamboat Resort.
SSCV Nordic skier Peter Kan finished 28th in the U16 interval start on Jan. 27 at Soldier Hollow.
SSCV's Porter Huff, who claimed a gold and silver medal at the Youth Olympic Games last week in South Korea, will make his World Cup debut Feb. 1 at Deer Valley Resort.

Team Colorado player and VSSA student Caroline Harrington was part of the Team Colorado U14 AAA championship win at the Florida Rush MLK tournament. Nice work Caroline!
Kathleen Viele and Samantha Kisielica helped the Vail Mountaineers Girls U10 team go undefeated to win the Steamboat Springs Adele Dombrowski Mountain Divas Tournament. Great work girls!

Congrats Stewie Bruce on qualifying for the 2024 Youth Olympic Games. Stewie set this as one of his goals last year and today he was named to the team. We are so proud that a member of the Ski Club Vail FIS Men's team and a student of VSSA will be representing the USA in alpine skiing at the Youth Olympic Games in South Korea.
Calen is a top-ranked USABMX 13-year-old national age group rider. He is currently attending an elite BMX race camp in Phoenix, Az. to help prepare for the USABMX Grand Nationals in November.
The Vail Christian boys tennis team qualified two athletes from the 4A Region 8 tennis tournament to the state championships in Pueblo this weekend.
The Avon Swim Team coaches with athletes Paisley Thompson, Jackie Woodrow, Maddison Beidel and Logan Shiao at the CSI Age-group state meet.
