Back To School Night
Back to School Night is held in August 4:00- 5:30pm
Parents will have the opportunity to follow their student's schedule starting at 4:00. Teachers will share general info about their class and parents can ask questions during each 10 minute rotation. Parents can also check in with our counselors, gifted and talented teacher, and administration. Ice cream will be served after the rotations for some socialization!

Coffee with The Principal is the time for parents to hear about instructional programs, gain instructional data knowledge, learn strategies to assist their children, ask questions and/or share concerns that will positively impact student academic achievement.

Graduation Activities
Required Graduation Rehearsal: 2:00pm @ 4 Eagle Ranch in Wolcott (4098 CO-131) · ALL Seniors are REQUIRED to attend this MANDATORY rehearsal.
Graduation Ceremony: 10:00am @ 4 Eagle Ranch in Wolcott. ALL graduates need to report by 9:00am at the 4 Eagle Ranch. The early reporting time for Seniors is to accommodate group photos.
Graduation Caps & Gowns: You can’t graduate without the proper attire! Students WILL BE allowed to adorn their caps with personalized items that are to be two dimensional. Please be considerate and don’t make the cap decoration a distraction (nothing lewd or vulgar) to the ceremony.
Dress Etiquette: Graduation Ceremony it is expected that students dress appropriately for these time honored and significant community events. “Business casual” (Girls in white dresses / Boys in shirt and tie) would be the minimum expectation for student attire.

Bring Your Chromebook
New student and parent orientation is an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of VSSA. Parents and students will meet each other over coffee and then gather in the gym to meet the teachers and sports club leaders. Then students will break out with their "Ready Yeti" groups to go through some ice breaker activities and discover the habits that help VSSA students be successful.

Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences are held twice a year, usually in the fall and spring.

A parent-teacher conference is a great opportunity to:
- share academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, testing data, assessments, portfolios, and assignments
- learn from parents or guardians so you can be better informed about students' strengths, needs, behaviors, and learning styles
- discuss enrichment or intervention strategies to support students' learning
- discuss issues that may be interfering with students' learning and growth
Showcase (Lower School)
Lower School Show Case of Learning
VSSA is hosting a Lower School Showcase on 10/29 from 3:15-3:40. Parents are welcome to come see what the students have been up to in their WIN Enrichment class. Student work will be set up in the foyer, cafeteria and outside the gym.
This is a great time to celebrate the awesome academics that have been happening around VSSA.
